EWIGKEIT Complete Work On New Album
July 30, 2005U.K. progressive metallers EWIGKEIT (pronounced Ay-vish-kite) have completed work on their new album, "Conspiritus", due on August 29 via Earache Records.
Recorded and engineered by EWIGKEIT mainman James Fogarty and mixed by John Fryer, "Conspiritus" is described in a press release as "an analysis of a hypothetical reality in which the world is controlled and manipulated by shadowy figures hiding behind multi-national corporations, the media machine, international banks and the global military.
"Over the ten tracks on display, James's lyrical themes explore the ways in
which this shadowy elite will seek to manipulate, enslave and exploit mankind; from slavery via debt through manufactured diseases, to control through the media, all woven into a non-stop seamless cinematic journey in sound which encompasses the characteristics of metal, rock, electronica and sample-based music — as gratifying to the spaced-out devotee of PINK FLOYD as to the fan of the regimented grimace of KILLING JOKE."
